Rapé Ceremony is a sacred medicine that has been used by tribes of the Amazon basin and is an essential part of their tribal medicinal culture. Rapé is made of wild tobacco with other herbs, seeds and tree ashes. Rapé is blown forcefully into the nostrils by the shaman with a special blowpipe. Rapé promote deep cleansing of the body, energetic field, emotions, mental stress, confusion and bring spiritual alignment. It clears the sinuses and blood flow to the brain.

The Night Watchman: Amazonian Guayusa Dream Tea Ceremony

This is a powerful shamanic experiential evening, where you will journey into the dimensions of dreamtime, and altered states. It is a vision quest that challenges your inner warrior, and your sense of space, time and direction, as you step into the mystery of
dreamtime.
In a special traditional ceremony, we honor the Guayusa tree spirit with chants, songs and music. As we sip the sacred tea, we go into deep meditative silence in complete darkness, to encounter and communicate with our spirit guides and other spirits, to enable us to bring new visions and awareness into our lives.

The Amazonian Kichwa people of Ecuador believe that the Guayusa plant taught human beings how to dream. It is also called “The Night Watchman” because it sharpens the hunter’s instincts
to keep focused energy, while bringing in night vision and awareness. Kichwa families drink gourds of Guayusa around the communal fire from dawn till sunrise as a way to create a tribal bond, and rejuvenate their spirit and bodies. During this time, they share their night’s dreams as the shaman interprets them, so they can plan the day’s course of action. This is also the time when the elders teach the youth about ancestral myths, hunting practices and
social ethics.

Guayusa, similar to yerba maté, is a medicinal plant that contains caffeine without the rugged edges, and it’s filled with healthy antioxidants. It also has theobromine, found in chocolate, and L-
theanine, found in green tea. You will feel fully alive. It is not hallucinating; it simply activates the brain, not allowing it to go deep into theta/delta states (below the level of the conscious mind),
which allows you to “see” your visions.

Shamanic Diagnostic and Bodywork: 3 days of Intensive hands-on training and healing

You are welcome to register for a unique shamanic healing training weekend. It is designed for both those who are novices with a strong healing curiosity, and for those who have previous healing experience, and want to add authentic shamanic-based healing
bodywork methods to their toolbox.

In these three powerful days, you will learn the principals, techniques and philosophies behind these sacred healing methods, which have rarely been taught. Most importantly, you will be able
to practice them on your fellow participants and receive sacred healing yourself.

The teaching will include the following High Andes, Amazonian and Aztec techniques:

- Power Animals Spirit Guides
Retrieve a special spirit helper in the spirit world to assist you in your healing work by connecting to the source of knowledge.

- Candle Flame and Egg Diagnostic Reading
A staple practice by the Yachaks of the Ecuadorian High Andes, which aids in finding out the root causes of their clients physical, emotional and spiritual health, or sickness. You will learn the
interpretation and meaning of each of the color areas within the flame, the shapes of the wax and flame, and the wick positions. You will learn to decipher the egg’s consistencies, blemishes,
white filament structures, and position in the glass, and how it all relates to the person's life and health.

- Full Body Hand Scanning and Energy Gazing
These are Lay-of- Hands and Energy Gazing techniques to locate energy blockages in the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. They help indicate the specific body areas that need special attention and healing due to emotional and physical traumas.

- Tucuma Palm Tree Needles
This is a unique Native Brazilian Amazon technique that involves the tapping of Tucuma Palm tree thorns (no penetration) on the body’s entire skin. It is used for diagnostic purposes, to locate
malfunctioning organs, and invigorate and rebalance the body’s total nervous system. It removes blocked energies, fears and traumas, and alleviates physical pain such as lower back,
headaches, shoulders, etc.

- Aztec Bodywork
A Lay-of- hands diagnostic technique that enables you to "see"; into the client’s past life events and medical conditions, and is helpful in rebalancing and calming the body’s energy. It allows you to explore the heart, masculine, feminine and sexual energy centers,
and rebalance them.

- Amazonian Massage
A unique massage method to help improve digestive system function, and to stimulate the body’s energy flow by triggering the skin, tissue, and muscle activity.

About Itzhak:

Itzhak Beery is a leading shamanic teacher, healer, speaker, community activist and author of three Amazon bestsellers books. For over 22 years, he bridges the spiritual and practical wisdom his indigenous teachers entrusted in him with a powerful contemporary approach relevant to our stressful and unbalanced modern times. Itzhak apprenticed with Don José Joaquin Pineda a well-known fifth generation Ecuadorian Quechua Yachak (shaman) from the village of Iluman, who initiated him into the Sacred 24 Yachaks Circle of Imbabura. He was also initiated by Shoré, an Amazonian Kanamari Pajè (shaman) on the banks of the Rio Negro. Itzhak studied and assisted for 12 years with Ipupiara Makunaiman (Dr. Bernardo Peixoto) a Brazilian Pajé from the Ure-eu- wau-wau tribe and his Peruvian curandera wife. Additionally, Itzhak studied with elders and shamans in North and South America, Greenland, Siberia and Africa.
